No, not that I am/was aware of. You just have to anticipate the need for..


power with a fan engine, as it needs to "spool up" as they say. The turbojet J-79's in the F-4E were "instant power", especially when you selected afterburner! The A-7 was a non afterburner fan engine, but you just had to realize that and compensate for it.
